Can daily music tunes heal the Stroke-Stricken mind?

NCT ID NCT07127159

Summary

This study explores whether intentionally listening to music daily can improve emotional well-being in people recovering from a stroke. Sixty stroke survivors will be randomly assigned to listen to either music or audiobooks for one hour each day at home for four weeks. Researchers will measure changes in mood, memory, attention, and brain activity through questionnaires, tasks, and MRI scans to see if music provides mental health benefits.
