Soothing tunes ease heart procedure anxiety

NCT ID NCT06293248

Summary

This study tested whether listening to calming music before and after a common heart procedure (coronary angiography) could help patients feel better. Researchers compared 210 patients, with half listening to specially selected music and half not. They measured pain, anxiety, vital signs, and overall comfort to see if music made a difference in the recovery experience.
