First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested whether listening to live or recorded music during dialysis can reduce pain, itch, anxiety, and depression. 102 adults on dialysis took part. They had one week of normal dialysis for baseline data, then a week with live music, then a week with recorded music. Researchers compared how patients felt with and without music.
