First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at whether listening to music during a dental filling can lower anxiety in adults who are nervous about dental visits. About 75 people with moderate-to-high dental fear will be randomly assigned to receive standard care with or without music therapy. Researchers will measure changes in blood pressure, heart rate, stress hormones, and anxiety scores to see if music helps them feel more relaxed.
