Soothing sounds for healing hearts: music tested to calm hospital anxiety
NCT ID NCT07454434
Summary
This study aims to see if listening to relaxing music can help reduce anxiety and improve sleep for people recovering from a heart attack during their first night in the intensive care unit. Researchers will compare a group of 64 patients who listen to 30 minutes of special calming music before bed to a group receiving standard hospital care. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to make a stressful hospital stay more comfortable.
