Could a mushroom capsule ease the harsh side effects of cancer treatment?

NCT ID NCT07241182

Summary

This study is testing whether a supplement made from Antrodia cinnamomea mushroom can help improve quality of life for people with lung cancer who are receiving platinum-based chemotherapy. Forty participants will be randomly assigned to take either the mushroom supplement or a placebo capsule daily for three months, while doctors track their nausea, sleep quality, and other symptoms. The goal is to see if the natural supplement can reduce the difficult side effects that often come with chemotherapy treatment.
