Tracking hope abroad: study follows patients seeking stem cells for brain injury
NCT ID NCT07326059
Summary
This study aims to gather information on the safety and potential effects of an experimental stem cell therapy (called MUSE cells) for people with chronic traumatic brain injury. It will follow 10 participants, aged 6 to 75, who have chosen to receive this treatment at clinics outside the United States. The researchers will not provide the treatment but will monitor participants' health, daily function, and quality of life for one year to collect real-world data.
