New drink promises faster muscle recovery for weekend warriors

Summary
This study tests a drink containing caprylic acid and omega-3 fatty acids to see if it helps muscles recover strength and reduce fatigue after intense exercise. Researchers will enroll 28 healthy young men who exercise regularly. Participants will do a muscle-damaging workout and then take either the test drink or a placebo, with muscle function measured before and 72 hours after exercise.
