First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looked at 60 adults having surgery under general anesthesia. Half received a muscle relaxant (rocuronium) and half did not. The goal was to see if avoiding the relaxant helps patients recover muscle strength faster after surgery, measured with a hand grip test. The findings could help doctors choose the best anesthesia approach for quicker recovery.
