NCT ID NCT07347535
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a new, non-invasive imaging method (multispectral optoacoustic tomography) to measure oxygen levels in leg muscles during exercise. Researchers will compare results from endurance athletes, strength athletes, healthy controls, and people with peripheral arterial disease (PAD). The goal is to see if this technique can detect differences in muscle oxygen and how it relates to standard exercise tests. About 60 adults will participate.
