Can muscles 'Remember' testosterone? study seeks answers
NCT ID NCT05964920
Summary
This study investigated whether short-term testosterone treatment creates a 'memory' in muscles that makes them respond better to future exercise. Researchers gave testosterone or placebo to 45 older men, some with exercise training, then stopped treatment, and later retrained them. The goal was to see if muscles 'remembered' the earlier testosterone exposure and grew stronger during later training.
