Scientists test 'Living Graft' to fight muscle loss in bedridden patients

NCT ID NCT07426068

Summary

This is a very early study to see if a new procedure is safe and might help people with severe muscle loss from being bedridden for a long time. Doctors will take a patient's own muscle cells, grow them in a lab, and then transplant them back under the skin. The goal is to see if this 'muscle graft' can survive, improve muscle health, and help with overall body condition.
