Doctors test using your own muscle to fix bladder leaks

NCT ID NCT01953263

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety of a new treatment for urinary incontinence. Doctors take a small piece of muscle from a patient's thigh, process it into fragments, and inject it into the bladder neck area during the same procedure. The goal is to see if this strengthens the muscle that controls urine flow and reduces leakage.
