Could a Grape-Based supplement ease the exhaustion of prostate cancer treatment?
NCT ID NCT03496805
Summary
This study tested whether a dietary supplement made from muscadine grapes could help men with recurrent prostate cancer who are on hormone therapy. The main goal was to see if the supplement could reduce the severe fatigue often caused by treatment and improve patients' quality of life. For 12 months, 106 men took either the grape extract or a placebo pill, while researchers tracked their fatigue levels, physical function, and other health measures.
