NCT ID NCT07309536
First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a Mediterranean diet can improve gut health and reduce inflammation in toddlers aged 2-3. Forty families will be randomly assigned to either a 3-week Mediterranean meal plan with free food boxes and nutrition coaching, or their usual diet. Researchers will track diet quality, body composition, and gut bacteria to see if early eating habits can set the stage for better long-term health.
