New sensory therapy aims to steady kids with cerebral palsy

NCT ID NCT06721663

Summary

This study tested whether adding multisensory environment stimulation to standard exercises could improve postural control and balance in children with a specific type of cerebral palsy. Thirty-eight children, aged 9 to 12, were randomly assigned to receive either exercises alone or exercises plus the multisensory therapy for three months. Researchers measured changes in balance using specialized tests to see if the combined approach was more helpful.
