New hope for Tough-to-Treat blood cancer: major trial tests promising drug combo

NCT ID NCT07222761

Summary

This large, late-stage study is testing whether new drug treatments can better control multiple myeloma that has come back or stopped responding to prior therapies. It will compare two approaches using an investigational drug called linvoseltamab—given alone or combined with carfilzomib—against current standard treatments. The main goals are to see if these new options lead to deeper, longer-lasting responses with fewer side effects, and to help patients live longer without their cancer getting worse.
