New injection method tested for hard-to-treat blood cancer

NCT ID NCT04045795

Summary

This study tested whether a multiple myeloma drug called isatuximab could be given as a simple injection under the skin instead of through an IV. Researchers compared both methods in 56 patients whose cancer had returned or stopped responding to previous treatments. The main goals were to check if the injection method was safe, how the body processed the drug, and whether it worked as well as the IV method.
