Timing matters: early supportive care may boost cancer Patients' Well-Being
NCT ID NCT05355987
Summary
This study looked at whether starting supportive care services like counseling and therapy right after a multiple myeloma diagnosis leads to better quality of life compared to waiting six months. It involved 20 adult outpatients who were not eligible for a stem cell transplant. The main goal was to see if the timing of this extra support makes a difference in how patients feel and function.
