Summary
This study looks at information already collected during hospital care, plus extra blood and urine samples, to help doctors identify different types of cardiogenic shock and predict outcomes. Researchers will follow 600 adults hospitalized with acute heart failure or shock. No experimental treatment is given—the goal is to learn which factors are linked to the risk of death within 30 days.
