First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a 12-week health program could help older adults (65+) living in temporary container homes after an earthquake. Sixty people took part: half received personalized exercise, nutrition advice, and medication guidance, while the other half received no extra support. The program aimed to improve balance, strength, nutrition, and mental well-being. Results will help design better care for vulnerable seniors after disasters.
