New study: lifestyle combo may protect young kidneys

Summary
This study looks at whether a program of healthy eating, exercise, and a special supplement (called a symbiotic) can reduce harmful substances in the blood and lower inflammation in young people with early chronic kidney disease (CKD). The goal is to slow down the disease and protect kidney function. About 200 participants with mild to moderate CKD will take part.
