Summary
This study created a new monitoring system that combines brain waves, oxygen levels, blood pressure, and heart rate to help doctors give the right amount of anesthesia during surgery. The goal was to avoid giving too much or too little anesthesia, which can be dangerous. The system was tested on 330 patients of all ages undergoing non-cardiac surgery.
