New MRI scans reveal hidden lung blockages in asthma patients

Summary
This study looks at how mucus plugs block airways in people with severe asthma. Using special xenon MRI scans, researchers will check lung function in blocked areas before and after starting biologic therapy. The goal is to understand how these plugs affect breathing and how treatment helps. About 5 adults with severe asthma will take part.
