Summary
This was the first study to give the new oral drug MT-501 to people. Its main purpose was to check if the drug is safe and to see how the body absorbs and processes it. The study involved 72 healthy adult volunteers who took single and repeated doses for up to 8 days. The results will help decide if and how to develop MT-501 further for potential future use.
