NCT ID NCT06032455

First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a special version of multisystemic therapy (MST-ID) works better than standard therapy for teenagers with severe behavioral problems whose families have intellectual disabilities. About 470 teens and their families will take part, filling out questionnaires at the start, end, and up to 18 months after treatment. The goal is to see if MST-ID reduces rule-breaking behavior more effectively and to understand families' experiences with the therapy.
