Summary

This study looked at whether taking monosodium glutamate (MSG) regularly changes how fast the stomach empties and how the body uses protein from food. Thirteen healthy adults with a BMI between 23 and 28 took part. The goal was to understand how MSG might affect digestion, not to treat any disease.
