Summary
This study looked at the long-term safety and effects of using a patient's own stem cells to treat liver cirrhosis caused by hepatitis B, C, or fatty liver disease. 700 adults with compensated cirrhosis were monitored after receiving the therapy. The goal was to see if the treatment could improve liver stiffness and blood markers of liver function without causing serious allergic reactions.
