First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This early-stage study tests whether a person's own bone marrow stem cells can safely help with severe dry mouth caused by past radiation for head and neck cancer. Six to twelve participants will receive an injection of their own stem cells into the salivary gland area. The main goal is to check for side effects, with a secondary look at whether saliva production improves.
