New MS injection trial aims to halt brain damage

NCT ID NCT05265728

Summary

This study tested a version of an existing MS drug, natalizumab, given as a shot under the skin every four weeks. It aimed to see if this new method of delivery could effectively reduce new brain lesions and relapses in Japanese adults with relapsing-remitting MS. The trial also monitored the treatment's safety and how the body processes the drug.
