Mind-Body combo tested to help MS patients walk better
NCT ID NCT05993819
Summary
This study looked at whether adding cognitive behavioral therapy (a type of talk therapy) to supervised Pilates exercises could help people with multiple sclerosis (MS) improve their walking, balance, and fatigue. It involved 90 adults with MS who could walk independently. One group did Pilates exercises for eight weeks, while the other did the same Pilates program plus talk therapy sessions.
