New pill aims to loosen MS Patients' tight muscles

NCT ID NCT05179577

Summary

This study is testing whether a new, once-daily extended-release tablet called arbaclofen ER can safely reduce muscle stiffness (spasticity) in people with multiple sclerosis. About 442 adults with MS will take either the real medication or a placebo pill for several months to see which works better. The main goal is to see if the drug improves muscle flexibility and reduces stiffness compared to the placebo.
