Brain scans aim to predict MS disability years in advance
NCT ID NCT03134716
Summary
This study aims to understand how brain inflammation relates to disability progression in multiple sclerosis (MS). Researchers will use specialized PET brain scans on 35 participants with MS, aged 40-50, to measure inflammation and other brain changes. The goal is to find markers that could one day help identify which patients are at highest risk of their MS getting worse.
