Simple blood test could replace frequent MRIs for MS patients

NCT ID NCT07292480

Summary

This study is testing if a simple monthly blood test can spot hidden disease activity in people with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (MS) earlier than the standard yearly MRI scans. Researchers will compare two groups: one gets the new monthly blood monitoring, while the other follows the usual care with regular MRIs. The goal is to see if catching activity sooner with the blood test allows doctors to switch patients to stronger treatments faster, potentially preventing relapses and disability.
