Zapping away MS bladder troubles: new study tests Non-Invasive relief

NCT ID NCT06143397

Summary

This study tested two non-invasive electrical stimulation methods to see if they could ease overactive bladder symptoms in women with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Forty-two participants were split into groups to receive stimulation on the ankle or lower back, or a sham treatment, twice a week for six weeks. The goal was to see if these treatments could reduce symptoms like frequent urination, urgency, and incontinence, and improve quality of life.
