First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
This study tests a training program called MRWeight to help medical residents improve their weight management counseling skills. About 630 first-year residents will either receive the program (sessions and email modules) or standard training. Their counseling skills will be assessed through video scenarios and surveys over 18 months to see if the program makes a difference.

What this could lead to
If successful, this could lead to better training programs that help doctors counsel patients on weight management more effectively.
