NCT ID NCT03489629

Summary

This study tested a two-week antibiotic treatment to clear a dangerous bacteria called MRSA from the lungs of people with cystic fibrosis. Thirty-seven participants aged 2 to 45 received oral antibiotics, a nasal ointment, and mouthwash. Researchers checked if the treatment successfully cleared the infection and if it reduced lung flare-ups over six months.
