Eye imaging showdown: MRI vs ultrasound

NCT ID NCT05300698

First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study compares two imaging methods—MRI and ultrasound—to see how well they match in measuring eye layers. About 30 adults who need an eye ultrasound will also get a high-resolution MRI with contrast dye. The goal is to understand when the two tests agree or disagree, not to treat any disease.
