MRI scans put to the test: can they accurately measure breast tumors?
NCT ID NCT07268300
Summary
This study aims to see if MRI scans can accurately measure the volume of breast tumors compared to measurements taken after surgery. Researchers will enroll 59 women with operable breast cancer who are having their first presentation. The goal is to determine if 3D MRI measurements match the actual tumor size found during pathology examination, which could help doctors better plan treatments.
