MRI scans put to the test: can 3D imaging accurately measure breast tumors?

NCT ID NCT07268300

Summary

This study aims to see if 3D MRI volume measurements of breast masses match the actual tumor size found during surgery. Researchers will compare MRI scans with pathology results from 59 women with operable breast cancer. The goal is to improve how doctors measure tumors to better plan surgeries and monitor treatment response.
