Could a safer scan replace standard cancer imaging?
NCT ID NCT03968315
Summary
This study aims to see if MRI scans can be as accurate as CT scans for determining the stage of thymoma tumors before surgery. Researchers will compare both types of scans against surgical findings in 40 adult patients with thymoma. The goal is to determine if MRI could provide similar information without exposing patients to radiation from CT scans.
