First seen Dec 12, 2025 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study explores whether MRI scans can help doctors predict which heart failure patients will respond well to a special pacemaker treatment called cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT). Researchers will use MRI data and computer models to better understand why some patients improve and others do not. The goal is to develop a scoring system to guide treatment decisions. The study involves 110 adults scheduled for CRT and healthy volunteers for comparison.
