New scan could reveal if cancer treatment is working within a week
NCT ID NCT04589624
Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether a special type of MRI scan can predict how patients with thyroid or other head and neck cancers will respond to their treatment. The scan uses a special imaging agent to look at how cancer cells use energy. Researchers hope this scan can show early signs that a treatment is working, which could help doctors plan the best care sooner.
