New scan could replace needle test for liver disease
NCT ID NCT06205992
Summary
This study aims to find a better, non-invasive way to measure pressure in the liver for people with cirrhosis. Researchers will compare two types of advanced MRI scans (3D and 2D) to see which one more accurately predicts liver pressure, which currently requires an invasive catheter procedure. The goal is to help doctors better monitor and manage liver disease without uncomfortable tests.
