Could a quicker scan spot hidden endometriosis?
NCT ID NCT06195280
Summary
This study aimed to test if a specific type of MRI scan could accurately detect superficial endometriosis, a painful condition where tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus. Researchers planned to compare the scan results with findings from laparoscopic surgery, which is the current standard for diagnosis. The trial was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
