NCT ID NCT07182669

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tests a new, radiation-free MRI method to diagnose chronic mesenteric ischemia, a condition where narrowed gut arteries cause pain after eating. Researchers will measure oxygen levels in the portal vein in 40 people—half with pain, half without—to see if the scan can tell them apart. The goal is to provide a safer, non-invasive way to identify this condition.
