New MRI study aims to decode mysterious kidney tumors
NCT ID NCT06126159
First seen Mar 23, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looks at kidney tumors that don't have visible fat on CT scans, making them hard to diagnose without a biopsy. Researchers will use special MRI scans to see if they can tell different tumor types apart and link them to certain proteins. The goal is to improve diagnosis and help choose the right treatment. About 44 adults with these tumors will take part.
