MRI study reveals how neck position impacts brain fluid flow
NCT ID NCT00795080
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study uses MRI scans to see how different neck positions affect the flow of cerebrospinal fluid (the fluid around the brain and spinal cord) in people with Chiari malformations. Researchers will compare results from healthy volunteers and patients to better understand the condition. The goal is to use this information to predict how well surgery might work for these patients.
