New brain scan seeks hidden clues in vein blockage patients
NCT ID NCT05041569
Summary
This study aims to test a new type of MRI scan to see if it can detect changes in lymph nodes near the brain in people who have blockages in their brain veins. It will enroll 100 adults who are already scheduled for a contrast MRI as part of their standard care for conditions like cerebral venous thrombosis. The research is observational and focuses on improving imaging techniques to better understand these conditions, not on providing a new treatment.
