New brain scan could reveal hidden stroke danger
NCT ID NCT07309718
Summary
This study is testing a new type of MRI scan to see if it can better predict who is most at risk of having a stroke due to narrowed brain arteries. It will follow 400 patients in China for one year while they receive standard stroke-prevention medications. The goal is to see if the scan's measurements of blood flow pressure are linked to future strokes, which could help doctors identify high-risk patients earlier.
